Izumi is a photographer specializing in interiors/homes and lifestyle. Being a storyteller, she brings compelling ideas, visuals and stories together by talent, elegance, integrity and passion transforming simple life moments into treasured stories.
With over 20 years of experiences in documentary productions for televisions and films with Japanese as well as American media, she is naturally drawn to stories. With infinite curiosity in humanity and life in itself, she captures the “essence of life” with her camera.
She loves to photograph the subjects "verite style" meaning in their natural elements - whether they are living things or non-living things and whether they are ordinary or extraordinary scenes. And the visual stories naturally come together sometimes with words and sometimes without.
